I'm trying to drum up enthusiasm for Quad this year...not sure why I lost interest but I did... I almost told K that he'd be going by himself but someone's got to put the tent up.

I even like the fact that the Grotto Party has a theme which allows me to dress in period (timewise if not in region) & still get into the spirit of the event. I have modified one of my dresses to look more Venetian, I made a chemise to go under it, I have beads to make a belt, I still have a mask I made for a Samhain & that just leaves a hat... not sure what to do for that in the few remaining days...

Being tired from an intensive week's course isn't helping *sigh* hopefully hanging out with friends will perk me up.

I've been feeling like that for a few years now. It usually passes once I get on site but the prep work (whether it be lots or little) is enough to dampen any enthusiasm. That and the recent "too much time with people I don't really like and not enough with people I do" kinda makes me blah.

BUT!!! Other than friends - The Grotto party is one of the main reasons why I'm heading up. Glad to hear it's incentive for others as well. See ya soon!

Well once you get there it seems to help. It's going to be a long lonely drive for me this year going alone.
