Talking of cute guys in beekeeping gear... although he doesn't wear all that much of it these days... this is Sam Comfort's website:

He came to town recently to talk about less invasive beekeeping methods, I think you'd like his philosophies.
Plus he has a pretty good singing voice... he sang us one about varroa mites & one that was a drone's song to a queen. :D
