House Update

It's been a while since I did an update... let me see... last post they were just starting to put the roof joists up.
Next we have roof with shingles:


A couple of Mondays ago I did the mechanical & electrical walk-through to make sure everything was in place... so we have framed walls:


Fireplace:


& lots of wires, ducts etc:


I seem to missing the pictures I took Sunday before last of the place just drywalled...

I went back this Sunday and the place was mudded & the ceiling was done:

This is taken from the great room to the nook with the kitchen on the right... the pipe in the floor is the sink drain that will be in the island.

Basement floor is poured:


Siding is up on the back and down one side:


& they were getting ready to do the front:

Tentative possession date is September 15th... I kind hope it gets delayed a bit...

That looks eerily exactly like the house I owned in Ottawa with my exhusband. I suppose there's an overall style to a lot of houses built in the same period.
