Brilliant slideshow, thanks for posting that! I've seen photos of Appleby Fair but this is far better! The speaker has that new political awareness that has sprung up in the last 30-40 years. That talk about retention of culture, etc, is not standard but of course that's why he's the spokesperson and not someone else.
I knew that the "Gypsy horse" was a black and white one (piebald?). I want one for SCA events!!
