Research peeps...

... I need your help!
I did a search on TAL and found one book I was looking for but the second eluded me. I was wondering if the universities libraries are included on TAL or not... if not how does a non-uni peep search these & borrow books?

(Calling on the LJ hive mind would have been WAY to corny as the books I'm looking for are on beekeeping!)

EDIT: stupid me... I can ask my sister to do a search at the U of C! duh!

If you tell me the name and author I can search the U. for you, and then either me or Inga can check it out for you...

Yous are awesome!
The Archaeology of Beekeeping by Eva Crane
She also has a book called The World History of Beekeeping an Honey Hunting which I found on TAL but if they have that too I could kill 2 birds with 1 stone & not have to do an interlibrary loan :)

Okay, I looked and here's what I found. The World History of Beekeeping is at UA but it's in the Bruce Peel Special Collections and it doesn't circulate, you must go there in person to have a conjugal visit. The Archeology of Beekeeping is currently "in" at GP College Fairview campus, and is also available in UA at Cameron Lib but is currently checked out. Sorry that wasn't more help!

...but you might want to call and see when a copy comes in or ask to place a hold. It appears to be out.
