I have been browsing the classifieds for a horse trailer... there's a very nice one for sale right now so I sent off a little enquiry. The problem is that I can't afford a trailer AND a truck at this point in time (a trailer's pushing it!) Why is this a problem?... Buy a trailer & rent a truck... nope... rental companies will not let you tow with their trucks... voids the insurance apparently.

Well that puts a kibosh on taking Ariel anywhere.

We have a truck with towing stuff.
You can borrow it but not in September or October (that's when Dad has dibs to use it when he's here for hunting).
It is also a gas hog but we're hoping some fixes we're getting done will help with that.

I guess you can also rent trailers...

My work friend was saying she usually gets Foothills Horse Transport (Darwin Orr) to take her pony to any of the shows or borrows her friend's trailer. Sorry it wasn't much help.
