Today I taught myself (from a book found in the bargain section of Chapters) how to crochet:



The first 2 rows are single crochet, the rest is double crochet... eventually it'll be a scarf... I hope!
The edges are a little wonky as I wasn't sure how to finish each row... not sure I'm doing it right now but at least I'm being consistant!

If you look on youtube, there's loads of crochet tutorials for when it doesn't make sense in the book. I find it much easier to watch someone actually doing it than reading about how to do it!

& multi shaded yarn makes it easy to have a pretty pattern!

I find the video clips good for showing me how to do some of the stitches but the book's good because I can use it to check without having to go onto the puter.

We should get together some time! I crochet a ton and can help with edges, finishing, pattern reading, etc. And its been too long since we have hung out!!!
