What I've been doing...

The back yard/garden is slowly coming together... holy crap hard work... luckily the heavy duty work will be a one time only deal... I should never have to dig the veggie beds again for example.

Here's a couple of shots:


Here you can see the fruit tree area in the foreground with blueberry bushes, my multi-variety apple tree, two cherry trees & where the bucket is I hope to put a plum tree.
You can also see my 3 raised beds that don't yet have wood around them & then in the background is the greenhouse bed that is framed & ready to put a greenhouse on top.
The archway by the gate has 2 varieties on honeysuckle, one up each side.




Here's the start of the rose garden, 3 Morden varieties (Sunrise, Firegloe & Blush) and a Persian Yellow. The hole in the middle is for either a white rose (name escapes me) or an Austrian Copper rose. The arch has Jackmanni clematis one side and John Davies climbing rose on the other.

Last but not least here is the first produce of the year... it went into tonight's stirfry!
